Malta became a Republic in 1964, joined the EU in 2004 and adopted the Euro currency in 2008. Located along major global shipping routes in the centre of the Mediterranean, Malta is optimally placed for cost-effective shipping of all sorts into any region of the world. Sea freight is given through our freeport, located less than 3km from our facility, and there are excellent air connections to all major hubs in the world for both passengers and freight through our international airport located 7km away.

Malta is geopolitically very stable and militarily neutral, ensuring minimal disruptions to infrastructure and international order which may jeopardise our ability to produce, which is not a given in more traditional production locations. Due to this, there is a decades-long history of a niche but robust industrial sector, largely aimed at export markets.

Communication is easy with English being one of two official languages, alongside Maltese. This is the case across the board, from daily life, through to the legal and administrative systems. Our expansive network of local support through academic institutions, employer organizations, industrial bodies, and governmental institutions ensures we are well placed to anticipate and prepare for changes to ensure continues production to the highest standards.
