Sustainability and sustainable development, seeking to minimise the carbon footprint, have long been ingrained in the company philosophy when planning company growth and expansion. Since 2020, Seifert Systems established itself as the first manufacturing company in Malta to be certified Carbon Neutral, a milestone achieved again in 2021, with improved results.

It is pertinent to say that the CO₂ emission was reduced by 15% in 2021 over the previous year, inspite of significant growth. Investment in the replacing high energy consuming machinery, with more efficient and less energy demanding ones have made all this possible.

The depth of knowledge on this topic has allowed us to delve into CO₂ neutral products aside from only producing them with emissions-free processes. While the level of difficulty and therefore the possibility of achieving full neutrality are very difficult, we continue to make great strides in improving what we have experience with, and what we have achieved for our customers.
